Organic Molecules Lab

This week everyone has been working hard to learn about the four types of organic molecules and the nutrition that they are associated with. Today the students took this knowledge to the next level and tested various solutions for the presence of the organic molecules. They used 4 different chemical test and observed color changes if positive and no color change if negative. Next week they will take this to the next level and test mystery items for the presence of starch, proteins, or simple sugars.
